Due to our continued solutions growth and success, we have a new position open for a Business Development Manager (BDM). The BDM is responsible for driving sales of 2N products throughout the assigned geographic territory.  In this role the BDM, supports existing customers (end users, integrators, Architect & Engineer’s (A&E’s) & distribution partners) through pre-sales and sales activities, works to define new appropriate customers developing them into ongoing 2N customers and works with 2N management to drive specific sales initiatives successfully in the territory. Applicants may reside in Montreal, Toronto (the GTA), Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver.

What You’ll Do Here…

  • Create a region wide business plan that will achieve and exceed sales and margin targets for the region.
  • Develop and grow key Integration partners who will drive usage among their end users.
  • Discover and cultivate key A&E specifiers in the region who will support and spec 2N products in project based opportunities.
  • Develop key relationships with distribution branches that support 2N/Axis.
  • Work with the US team to develop best practices and transfer knowledge within, benefiting the entire 2N/Axis team.
  • Build relationships with and utilize the Axis Regional Sales Manager’s (RSM’s) relationships within the assigned geography to build 2N business through the Axis channels.
  • Identify and participate in key industry events, meetings, trade shows, conferences and associations promoting 2N/Axis within the industry.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and reports on activity and pipelines using Salesforce.  Keep all reporting up to date on a weekly basis and achieve pipeline and opportunity targets as set by sales management.
  • Be a team player working with all 2N personnel to advance our overall business.
  • Work always with the highest level of ethics and proper business etiquette.
  • Achieve monthly and annual quotas.
  • Travel as appropriate to cover the region including up to 60% of the time.  
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

We Believe You Will Need…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent electronic trade training
  • 3-5 years’ in sales driven position
  • Strong technical background
