Axis is now looking for a Sales Engineer or Senior Sales Engineer based in Indonesia.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

In the role, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle. Furthermore, you will be responsible for researching, preparing and presenting technical product training designs to provide the essential skills for our clients to successfully implement Axis video surveillance solutions.

This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia


Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide internal and external assistance during the sales process to include delivering solution demonstrations to customers
  • Inform and update distributors and resellers on technical presales issues
  • Work with integrators and software development partners during the project sales process
  • Develop written presales material of technical nature
  • Conduct and lead monthly Axis Academy technical training courses for resellers and partners
  • Find new business opportunities when communicating with partners
  • Manage the relationship with selected software development partners
  • Growing products and services in the region by identifying opportunities early in the sales cycle
  • Handle project sales from a technical standpoint
  • Act as a technical consultant to give the best solution to customers
  • Helping to coordinate technical resources within the region
  • Liaise closely with the sales and account management teams as the technical expert and participate in developing and presenting strategic sales proposals
  • Any other duties as assigned

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Qualification and Experience

  • At least 3 years of work experience as a pre-sales or a technical solutions sales in the CCTV or IP surveillance industry
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered for a senior position
  • High degree of IT exposure in networking, IP-based technologies and applications with sound knowledge of network infrastructure, VMS software and hardware technology
  • Industrial certification from CISCO, Nortel Networks, Microsoft with technical experience from CCTV business preferred

  • Enthusiastic, self-driven & sales-oriented
  • Able to provide effective presentations and demonstrations to all levels of people
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Team player
