Axis’ Marketing Communications team is searching for a fun and energetic professional to join us as our Customer Advocacy Program (CAP) Specialist. Responsibilities focus on bringing customer success stories to life! Working as a member of the marketing communications team, you will strive to foster relationships that transform engaged customers into references, enthusiasts and full-blown advocates. 

The CAP Specialist is in charge of building and maintaining a Customer Advocacy Program for Axis Communications in the Americas. The CAP will align with business strategies that address key customer segments, solutions and other focus areas. Program initiatives will support and integrate with broad marketing, sales and public relations activities as well. Overall, the CAP will help educate and inspire key stakeholders. The CAP Specialist is responsible for the creation of compelling content and marketing materials, building brand awareness, and deepening relationships with existing and prospective customers. This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, requiring regular communication with customers, partners and stakeholders across the Axis organization.

What You’ll Do Here…

  • Develop and strengthen customer-centric relationships to build customer advocates
  • Recruit, maintain and manage pipeline of customer participants for reference and advocacy opportunities
  • Act as a central resource to research, secure, and track contacts for sales reference
  • Communicate internally and work with stakeholders to produce compelling Customer Advocate Program content such as case studies, customer testimonial videos, sales presentations, speaking opportunities and more
  • Expand and enhance the program by establishing best practices to capture, track, manage and share information
  • Build and maintain a robust reference database, aligned with the business strategy and useful to the sales and marketing organizations
  • Help establish customer advocacy priorities in alignment with the business strategy
  • Increase Customer Advocate Program adoption and visibility
  • Communicate quarterly ROI metrics/reporting to stakeholders in sales and marketing management
  • Work with internal teams and outside vendors to scale program activities including content writing services, customer interactions, information organization, content development, social media outreach and overall project management
  • Responsible for ensuring the program contributes departmental and organizational goals

  • Strong acumen and understanding how marketing campaigns and programs contribute to company revenue
  • Experience with business-to-business marketing
  • Excellent content development and formal writing skills
  • Experience collaborating with or managing freelance writers, agency staff, video production and or other vendors to achieve program results
  • Experience managing a campaign budget and reporting ROI / program metrics
  • Great organization and project management skills
  • Must be able to maintain organization and professionalism in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong work ethic, analytical and creative skills to take initiative and get the job done
  • Proactive and driven to solve problems and find innovative solutions
  • Must possess a team-oriented philosophy as cross-organizational teamwork and buy-in is essential

What You’ll Need…

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 7 years professional/marketing experience - work within a customer reference, advocacy or success program preferred

       Valued but not required skills or experience:

  • Background in marketing technology products and solutions is preferred
  • Salesforce/Pardot experience preferred

       Physical Demands:

  • Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-25 lbs (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)
  • Travel: Up to 15% required
