Key Account Manager (Critical Infrastructure)

 

As our Key Account Manager, you will be finding new business opportunities and driving sales within a selected number of End Customer and Channel accounts, making sure that our customers constantly get the full value of Axis.

 

You will be working on the field, closely to our customers, making sure that you are there as a partner for them, ensuring our common success in projects. You will handle accounts on a daily basis, acting as a professional interface between the accounts and Axis.

 

This position is a sales based role in New Delhi, India and will require travelling to the rest of India from time to time. 

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop clear business plans for the selected accounts
  • Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up on KPI’s on these
  • Actively participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars and other promotional sales activities
  • Work closely with the system integrators and train them in order to develop the project pipeline and close projects
  • Prepare sales reports for new and existing projects

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Instrumentation/Electronics engineering or equivalent
  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar sales position
  • Experience working with indirect sales, preferably in a techno commercial sales position from Electronic Security & Safety industry
  • Able to function efficiently either independently or team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in working with Consultants and Customers in the Oil & Gas, Power segment will be preferred
  • Knowledge of all the technical parameters for tender specifications in the segment is a must 
  • Desirable to have worked with the eco system (related software, n/w & other hardware products) in stitching solutions for solving customer issues
    • Should be aware of the nodal/approving agency for getting approval of Axis in these segments
    • Previous employment sales achievements will be considered
