The Regional Sales Director, Greater China is responsible for overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of the sales, technical and business development activities of the Greater China Region. He/she shall work closely together with the Regional Director to achieve the short and long term goals and objectives defined in the business plan for the region. He/she shall furthermore make the business plan in compliance to market conditions, making sure that all members of the sales team contribute in the right way to reach the targets. The Regional Sales Director is to manage the country sales management team on a daily basis – setting KPI’s and supporting them in generating and closing sales opportunities together with Axis Channel Partners. In addition to this he/she is to manage the Channel Managers as well as BD Managers in actively developing business and action plans with distributors, proactively drive sales, business development and marketing activity with the distributors to reach targets as well as keeping budgets. Finally in order to act proactively towards the market and the team he/she is expected to do the sales forecasting, take responsibility for tactical business planning, continuously analyze sales figures, handle pipeline management and track market trends. What You’ll Do Here… - Development of the business plan, providing market input to adjust the business plan over time and fine tuning the targets for the team.
- Implement the business plan and manage the tactical plans as well as key account plans in order to secure short- and long term revenue.
- Support, coach and follow up of the Regional Sales Managers, Channel Manager, Sales Engineers and BD manager. This includes setting and follow up KPI’s for all the team members and supporting them in any necessary presentations, client meetings or any internal issue involving either new business generation or current account management.
- Manage project pipeline and handle project pricing within set guidelines.
- Produce monthly reports sales activities and accurate forecasts on sales, service performance and other initiatives within the team. This includes keeping all the systems up to date and accurate, so that the correct follow up can be made on an individual level, through existing systems.
- Work with regional and local marketing team, driving the follow up activities after trade shows, exhibitions and other marketing activities, so that we get a high return of sales out of those initiatives.
- Conduct annual reviews for the members of the sales team, identifying areas of development for individuals and closing gaps.
- Act as key spokes person for the press in the region influencing the market opinion and supporting the Axis Brand.
- Responsible for developing EU/segment activities to ensure increased business.
- Represent the markets internally, sharing ideas and best practice, manage cross-border sales in a professional way, nurturing a strong virtual sales leader team within Greater China.

We Believe You Will Need… - 7+ years of experience in a similar role (P&L & leadership)
- Experience from sales management in the IT industry or security industry
- Good track record of developing individuals & teams
