Inside Sales Account Executive

 

Every lead is vitally important to someone - from the prospective of a customer through our Channels partners and our Regional Sales Managers.

The Inside Sales Account Executive (ISAE) is responsible for a number of Authorized partners, actively approaching, establishing and developing the relationship with them with the goal of growing them into Silver status.

The ISAE also handles the incoming sales calls, handling the lead queue within CRM and qualifying Authorized Partners.

In addition, the ISAE may also handle individual projects (like trainings etc.) and act as the CRM super user, training others in the team.

This position is based in Melbourne, Australia.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Being a bearer of our company culture.
  • Pro-actively handling of the CRM lead queue; to qualify AP – every partner has to be contacted personally and checked if the reseller is a good, potential partner of Axis (Quality not only Quantity driven scanning of the market)
  • Qualifying leads (end-users, partners etc.)
  • Evaluating the Sales Out Reports to analyse the development of new potential Authorized Partners, doing statistics
  • Handling the Inbound Calls in a professional way with a sales focused mind
  • Doing Outbound calls to develop non-active partners, or partners who have a good business potential
  • Responsible for trainings of AP – developing Webinars and context of Webinars together with Axis Communications Academy, Trainer
  • Partly visit fairs, exhibitions or important key customers together with regional KAM; to meet from time to time customers in the field to gain experience and work more closely with customers in the market
  • Act as the CRM head within a subsidiary, informing and training the sub-team about changes, updates of CRM; furthermore being the interface to HQ
  • Regularly join and participate at Axis Communications Academy to meet customers, to get in touch with customers and use this possibility to recruit new partners
  • Responsible of control and handle the demo pool within the region
  • Manage a set of focus partners and develop their skill sets, enabling their growth in the channel partner program
  • Monthly distribution report submission and managing pricelist to internal team

 

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related
  • 3 years of sales experience in a similar capacity (experience in the CCTV Network Security industry will be an advantage)
  • Experience in working with vendors, distributors, resellers, systems integrators in IT / security industry
  • Experience in selling products through channels, or a successful track record in telephone sales / customer service
  • Experience in working in a dynamic environment, with a customer-focus culture

Important skills, abilities, knowledge for this role:

  • Technical knowledge in order to provide first level technical information
  • Enthusiasm about IP technology and being good at the telephone (phone voice)
  • Friendly and open character; patience; being service minded towards customers and colleagues
  • Sales driven
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) and possible other key languages for the region
  • Responsible, hands-on and able to work independently
  • Good organizational skills - can handle multiple priorities
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
